Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem hope you all will be fine today we will study about nodal analysis in basic electricity and electronics nodal analysis of electric circuit Topic from fundamental of electric circuits so let’s start! Nodal Analysis! we will analyze a circuit by looking at all the nodal voltages attached to a circuit and unknown voltages or currents we have to find by using different equations there are certain steps 1. we have to select a reference node and we will assign the other nodes as voltages Then we will use KCL a.k.a Kirchoff’s current law on all the nodes that we have selected then we will solve all the equations simultaneously and… We will find the unknown node voltages Let’s start by the first example: this is the question given We have to find nodal voltages by nodal analysis Let’s name it as 1 And this is node 2. After that we have to assume the direction of the currents by ourselves Here we will always have the direction as downward Here the direction will also be downwards Let us take the flow here
And name this as “I” And name this as “I1” The direction of i4 and i1 are given And the directions of i5 and i3 are told
Always towards the current And the directions of i5 and i3 are told
Always towards the current But we have assumed i2 For example if the value of i2 is negative This will show us…. That the direction we assumed was wrong 🙁 Let’s start for node 1! This is node 1 and that is node 2. Firstly, we will use Kirchoff’s law We can do this in another way We can make equation like this also Now we are converting them in voltages by KCL By rearranging This is the way to calculate Nodal analysis But wait There’s another way to do this.
